I know it looks like I'm posting this one waaay early – and I am – but there's a reason for it! We have to let the restaurant know how many of us to expect, so I need your RSVP by November 5 or earlier if you're coming to this one (I know it says the 3rd on the calendar; we decided to give a bit more wiggle room for the procrastinators among us).
Every year, we have an official Toronto NaNo brunch bash near the start of November – it's a great way to meet people, celebrate your successes of the first week, and relax on the crest of that wave before diving anew into the rigors of novel-writing.

"Epic milkshake of doom?" Lithy, it's a Tim Horton's. The only thing that remotely resembles such an item is an Iced Cappuccino. However, if said Tim Horton's is one of the rare ones with a Cold Stone Creamery attached to it, THEN you could possibly do the "I'll drink your milkshake!" line from "There Will Be Blood".

That's why we've done it at the Pickle Barrel for the last few years... in 2008 we reserved an entire section of the (huge) restaurant for about 40 of us. It was fun :D
