Hi All
Argh we are so close to the start of November is almost unbelieveable. But no matter time continues on and November 1st will be here soon enough, and becuase of that our first write in is almost here.
Since the 1st of November is a Sunday and some of us will be Zombiefied from the Write Over and no sleep and either too much caffine sugar. The first write in will start at 11am or as soon as the Coffee Lounge opens.
We will have two or three groups going, if there are enough of us. One group for quiet writing, these are mainly set in 45 minutes of writing and then a fifteen minute break. Another for those that wish to talk during their writing, and maybe one for just talking, depending on what people want to do.
We have one compition for the 1st, we will be doing at least one (with those that wish to take part) 45 minute writing session, the one that writes the most in this little session wins, and there is a small prize for this. (These comps will happen at each write in.)
We hope to see you there!
Lily and Sue

The coffee lounge are going to make a mint out of the Zombie Quillers who are in need of caffeine/sugar. lol. I'll obviously be there, but it's most likely going to be my only appearance at writeins - it totally depends on uni stuff, as I've got a huge deadline at the start of december which has thrown a spanne rin the works as I thought I had til January, but I don't.
But I'm ready and raring to go! Have a vague idea for a plot.......though if anybody has any idea where I can get a floor plan for the Tower of London, especially the White Tower, I'd be really grateful. Otherwise, I'll just make it up and worry about it later. I've gotta go to London in November anyhoo so I could do a bit of recon. :D

Hiya Zorana,
Google 'Tower of London floor plan', the third link down should be a PDF file. Its an information sheet for carers of children with austism, but if you scroll down you will find basic floor plans for all parts of the Tower. Hope this helps :o)

When I wandered downstairs in Coffee Lounge, with my clothes smelling of bonfire and the kind of hairstyle that can only achieved by spending a night sleeping on a sofa, and was greeted by Cieria telling me how she liked my hair and my NaNo t-shirt I knew I was going to be alright (I'm not sure I've met anyone quite so enthusiastic about anything as she seems to be about NaNoWriMo).
While I didn't get a single word down on paper I did get a mediocre snack, a great cup of tea and some brilliant suggestions selected at random from a pot (it had a special name but that eludes me).
Now, I'm back home and I've got a vague idea of a plot. It's a love story of sorts, one that includes addiction, death and the evils of PR. I also still have my random suggestions so I'm also going to try and incorporate a belch, a chair upside down in the snow, a hula hoop, a monkey puzzle tree and 500 words on a piece of bread.
Today I achieved less than 200 words and really need to kill my inner editor. See you all next week :)
(And in case you're wondering, yes, my name does come from a children's book by Philip Ridley).
