Everybody knows that we Bostonians love a good rivalry! I know last year we had one with New York or some other region - can't remember - but I know that it was a lot of fun? Any chance we'll be doing that this year? And if not, why not!?!!! |

This was addressed earlier this month in another forum, but for the record:
We're not going to engage in a word count competition with New York or any other region. Managing a competition with another region is time consuming, and to be quite honest, neither Anna (QueenOfTheUniverse) nor I have the time to manage it. We'd rather put our time into making this a great year for our wrimos here -- a task we feel is more important and one at which we're infinitely more accomplished.
