¿Qué pasa con todas las novelas que se escriben durante NaNoWriMo? ¿Ha llegado a publicarse alguna de ellas?

Las novelas que son certificadas por nosotros para el conteo de palabras entre el 25 y el 30 de noviembre son automáticamente borradas. No leemos ni archivamos las novelas, y los autores que participan en NaNoWriMo conservan todos los derechos sobre lo que escriben durante el evento.

Muchos participantes han logrado ganar NaNoWriMo. Nuestras estadísticas son:

1999: 21 participantes y seis ganadores
2000: 140 participantes y 29 ganadores
2001: 5.000 participantes y más de 700 ganadores
2002: 13.500 participantes y aproximadamente 2.100 ganadores
2003: 25.500 participantes y aproximadamente 3.500 ganadores
2004: 42.000 participantes y un poco menos que 6.000 ganadores
2005: 59.000 participantes y 9.769 ganadores
2006: 79.000 participantes y 13.000 ganadores
2007: 101.510 participantes y 15.333 ganadores.
2008: 119,301 participantes y 21,683 ganadores.
