An afternoon write-in for the Troy - Royal Oak - Birmingham area.

When: Saturdays in November, 2 - 5 PM

Where:
    Panera Bread    [map]
    Troy Commons - Loehmann's Plaza
823 East Big Beaver Road, Troy, 48084 (west of Rochester Rd.)
    Phone: (248) 526-0822

Menu: Sandwiches, desserts, hot and cold drinks

Ages: All ages

Driving/Parking Tips:
Exit I-75 at Rochester Rd, then north on Rochester. Turn right on Big Beaver Rd, then reverse direction to head westbound across Rochester. Plaza is on right.

Sit at tables along the right-hand wall. The write-in starts after the lunch rush so we can sit together more easily.

Nearby attractions for non-noveling family and friends: Nordstrom Rack across Big Beaver Rd, Somerset Collection 3 miles west, Oakland Mall and Star Theater 2 miles southeast via I-75.

If I somehow manage to get a Saturday or two off....I might have to pop in! That's within a couple miles of home for me.

I'm closer to this one that the Macomb write-in, so I will try to stop by for a bit, pen and paper in hand.

Hullo! Just popping by to say hi. When I was in Troy during the school year, there weren't any write-ins in the area for me to go to. Now I'm in East Lansing for college, so I can't make the ones here. I'm always glad to see Troy people active on the forums, though!

If you have one that Saturday after Thanksgiving, then I should be there! =)

I'll be back home in the area for the holiday and would love the chance to keep up and meet more WriMos.

The write-in was great. Since I have no laptop, I was writing by hand, but so far from that I've inputted almost 2,000 words and still going! Thanks!
