As posted by Asphodele in a previous thread, here are the further details...
VENUE: Costa Coffee, Waterstones Piccadilly - 203-205 Piccadilly, London, W1J 9HD (It's on the bottom floor of the bookstore, just keep going downstairs and you'll come right to it.) Google Map Here
DATE: All Sundays in November (1, 8, 15, 22, 29)
TIME: 2-5 PM (they are actually open from 12-6 and we might be there before or after the "official" time, so feel free to expand if you want to)
DETAILS: We'll have table signs that say Nanowrimo (and many laptops) so hopefully we'll be easy to spot. Keep in mind that it's a public place and we aren't an official event, so there will probably be a bit of a scramble for tables. That said, Sunday is a slow day and it's a decent sized cafe, so we should be ok. We'll try our best to save spots and we'll also bring along two power strips to help with plugging in. Also, it probably goes without saying, but it's a normal Costa's, so coffee/tea/nibbles are available for any who desire them.
SCHEDULE: We know that a lot of people write better if there are actual times set aside for writing when there isn't a lot of chatter, so we have a (somewhat flexible) schedule. It's a public place so if you're more of a chatty writer you can of course make your own table of like minded people. Basically we plan for 15 minute chat times, and then 45 minute write times, to fill out each hour. Which would go like this:
2:00-2:15PM Chat
2:15-3:00PM Write
3:00-3:15PM Chat
3:15-4:00PM Write
4:00-4:15PM Chat
4:15-5:00PM Write
We also have some Nano stickers, buttons, etc which we will give out at will at all of our write-ins over the month. (Big word counts, good progress, creative noveling ideas, etc!)
Hope to see many of you there!

Thanks to everyone who came - we had about 17, which is amazing, and there was plenty of room for more. It turned out to be a perfect place for a write-in, plenty of empty tables and a quiet atmosphere. I think people got a lot done - our sticker winner was Dany who got around 4000 words!
For everyone's reference (since this tripped Daniel up) the Costa is actually INSIDE Waterstones, so you have to go into the bookstore to get to it. There is another Costa nearby, so don't get confused and go there! The Costa we mean is literally in the basement of Waterstones itself.

I'd love to come to the one next week - this is my first nanowrimo, so a write in sounds like a really good idea.
Would have come yesterday if I hadn't had a post-Halloween hangover... ¬_¬

Someone at the other write-in suggested that as I had a list I should post it for friending purposes, so here are the people who came last week. I hope this is okay with everyone - I tried to ask you all but may have missed some. I left off last names, unless it was in your username. (Also some people's handwriting is hard, so hopefully these are correct.)

Should be good, always nice to write around people who like to write as well =]
Should see you there!

Am going to try to make it this coming Sunday :) I ended up sleeping in until 2:30pm last Sunday after staying up so late after the stroke of midnight trying to get off to a decent start, so fingers crossed I won't be so sleep deprived this weekend!

I was wondering if one lost little WriMo from Finland would be welcome next Sunday? :)
Because let's face it, traveling in the middle of November is a BAD idea - just look at my word count and I didn't even go anywhere yet! But since I am going (and being overexcited about it, I have wanted to visit London for such a long time now) I thought it would be pretty fun to meet some of you and experience international NaNoWriMo offline too. And maybe, just maybe, I could get some pretty words together at write-in, I am in desperate need of words if I want to sleep even a few hours a night in the end of the month when I am back at home.

I am so positive I commented on this post like earlier in the week. Gah!
Anyways, I am going to be there this Sunday. Yes, I am indeed a little nervous about meeting new people, but totally up for it too! I've been here close to 8 months now and well, I need to start making some friends because work and sleep just aren't cutting it for me!
Point being, I'll see you there Sunday and I'm Rachael by the way . . .

Troryfan of course you're welcome to come, and I'm sure you'll fit in just fine. As far as I can tell, we've had people from about 18-40, and everyone is friendly. Also, I have to ask - is your name from Gilmore Girls or am I just totally off base? :)
I have the list of people from today's write-in (31!!) but I'm too lazy to type it up now, so I'll get it up in a bit. Thanks to everyone who came though. We're going to actually call ahead for next time and ask them to reserve a spot for us. It seems a good idea with so many people.

That was my first ever write-in and I had a blast. Lots of coffee, random chat and many, many words... er yeah, if that's what I can call it.
Slightly embarrassing being the youngest person there and the typing speed of well.. something really fast! I feel like such a computer geek now XD OH WELL! I got a shiny sticker and a milky way out of it!

Hiya, this was my first write-in, nice to meet all you creatively minded people; you've made me thoroughly embarrassed at my low total word count so by next Sunday I hope to be much closer to where I'm meant to be!
For those of whom I was talking to about my "dead body", I randomly passed some bored looking paramedics in Leicester Square and decided to bug them for advice; very helpful! I should be able to describe the scene without difficulty now.
See you on Sunday definitely, and perhaps on Tuesday depending on what my day turns out like!

Asphodele - Because I am super-smart, they ended up on the Event page for LAST week's Sunday write-in. Oops, total Facebook Fail on my part. They're now on the main group Facebook page. I hope.
Audiofrog - I think I have a doppelganger, and it's Lizm3. Hello, another-Liz - I have dead body problems too, so we shall have to discuss them on Sunday, or Tuesday. Mine are that one specific person has multiple corpses of herself spread all over the place. I'm not quite sure how it happened.
I was the Australian Liz, in the red jumper. Looking forward to seeing everyone else again - definitely on Sunday, and I hope tomorrow.
