Here's my reply.

My novel this year is about my main character Giovanna and how she takes on a grown-older-and-malevolent Peter Pan who has stolen the childhood of one of her close friends. She will need helpful allies in this perilous quest; and, how will she be able to keep up with her schoolwork??

I'm in!

My novel is a regency romance about a spoiled heiress who is the toast of the season until she discovers that her fiance has run off to elope with one of her best friends. Now the victim of ridicule and ruin, she decides the only way to save the Season and her pride is to announce another engagement immediately. Who better than the other jilted party? Except the other jilted party wasn't that thrilled about getting married anyway. Hijinks ensue.

Sure, I'll sign up.

A teenage girl, Scarlett, is tricked by her mentor into becoming a lich. Thousands of years later, she restores humanity to the undead of the world and creates a kingdom for them as a safe haven. She finds the integration of the undead back into society to be far from smooth however as, unbeknownst to her, her former mentor's interests run contrary to her own... and he begins to manipulate political powers to stand in her way.

Yay graph!

This year I'm returning to my favorite genre: fantasy. My novel is the first of a trilogy about the clash of cultures between two neighboring communities that have previously only given each other indifference. My MC's are Gryphon, the son of the leader of the Morodian demons, and Martigal, a healer-in-training in the human village (which has yet to be named). There are assassinations, plagues, and all sorts of fun battle scenes soooo off we go!

Me too!

When his son drowns after he turns his back for just a moment, Wilder McAndrews blames himself. Overwhelmed with guilt, he attempts to take his own life, but does not find the peace he seeks. Instead, he becomes one of the many restless souls wandering the earth in the form of animals, seeking atonement for perceived sins. To find peace and move on, Wilder must face his greatest fear: acknowledging that he doesn't always have the power to save the day.

A mainstream novel -- titled, "Yes, But"

While learning how to apply the principle of 'Yes, And' to their improvisational show, a group of Americans in Edinburgh learn the importance of planning in their personal lives. This is told from the POV of Andy, one of the organizers who isn't sure that moving in with his Cindy and her two kids is what he wants out of life, Nora, a woman who talked her best friend from England into coming with her to perform in an improv show, mainly to help her friend cope with her grief, and Will, a Londoner who because of a bet with a friend is pretending to be Welsh. Even within improv, there's a lot that can go wrong with this crew.

Another Sci-Fi novel for me!

This year it's "The Ruins of Paxton" where a routine cargo delivery to an isolated colony on the edge of the galaxy reveals rising troubles with the indigenous population and strange events happening at the ruins of the colony's first settlement. Events with dire implications for the whole galaxy! *gasp*

The fourth book in the Traveler series, and the continuation of my 2008 NaNo novel, "Living In the Future". So far this one is titled "Dying In the Past", and bad things are going to happen.

There are approximately 6,706,993,152 people in the word.
In a matter of moments, five of those 6,706,993,152 lives will be changed forever.

Justin, Faye, Jesica, Tyler, and Sylar all thought that they would be taking a free vacation to Spain. They were looking forward to exploding, meeting new people, and having a good time. They never expecting that they wouldn't make it to their destination.
After three months of being completely alone on an island, the five are rescued and brought back to civilization; but it's hardly the life they remember. The event tests their faith, will, and ability to love.

Please include me as well. My novel centers around a man who, after his life is shattered by two horrendous events, withdraws into himself. He accidentally discovers that he has the power to make his fantasies reality. Not sure how I am going to get there, but I had the ending in mind before I even started writing!

Ooh, fun!

Somewhere, in a small town, there is a graveyard outside of time and space, where it is perpetually autumn and always raining. The gravedigger... well, he digs graves. He also has to deal with people suddenly dying left and right, a necromancer bringing them back while slowly perfecting his methods, and a growing obsession with a girl with a red umbrella... And meanwhile, he may or may not be going mad.

Sure, what the heck.

An American junior high school student, deeply affected by his best friend's brutal murder by a mob of classmates, moves with his single mother to Tintagel where he discovers his unique abilities and helps his new friends find their own strengths. Allusions to Merlin and Arthurian legend.

Can I be included?

Summary: A bunch of college kids end up in a complicated situation after a project based around a web show they started for an assignment gets blown way out of preparation. One must figure out how much the whole thing is worth to her while balancing a fine line between who she is and what everyone wants her to be.

Please add me to the graph! My project this year is a paranormal romance about a young woman who discovers her boyfriend is having an affair. Only it goes from bad to worse, as the woman he's having an affair with ends up dead. What the heroine doesn't know is that her boyfriend is also a werewolf. She is chased down by her werewolf boyfriend, only to be saved by another man. She begins to trust this new man, as she learns of all the horrible things her boyfriend has done, only to find out later on that her savior is a werewolf as well.

My novel continues the adventures of a group of gamers who have their own portal to a magic world. They're unintentionally drawn into the world with no hint of what quest they need to complete to get themselves home. (Under 40 words -sweet!)

Sure, put me up there too!

You would think that by now I would have a better handle on what’s happening in my novel, but here goes. This is NaNo after all.

A Los Angeles sculptor meets a member of a secret society of psychics, and their romance leads them both to new discoveries about themselves.
