It's almost 5 hours in now!
Did anyone stay up for an early-early-early start?
my group here at Champlain did ;D

Two of us hit 5k
1 hit 3k
1 hit 2k
and our last ickle little child got the daily words needed. We're pretty proud of ourselves.
So.
We'll be there for the Burlington write-in to freak out and be super excited~

Anywho, the whole point of this post was to ask how people did, if anyone's nervous and if anyone's excited about their local write in's!

I hosted an Irrational Writing Party that was supposed to start at midnight, but was put off due to the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I'm planning on hitting 5,000 before sunrise. Why? Who knows. I'm at the daily requirement right now, but I should probably get back to it.

EDIT: Well, hit half my goal before sunrise. Falling asleep at my desk does that to you

This will be my third year doing WriMo. My first year predates this account though. Bah. I need some tea.

I stayed up. Not that it was really much of a big thing, since I'm usually up at midnight anyway XD
I hit 1k, which was kind of my goal, since I had homework to do after I woke up this afternoon. Which I am totally not doing. I'm hoping that next year when I start NaNo I once again have someone doing it sitting next to me, that way I can feel the need to type faster and race someone. I'm stupid competitive when it comes to word counts.

I stayed up.

I napped most of yesterday afternoon so that I could be awake for a long-ish time once the clock hit midnight. I ended up seeing both the clock on my computer and the clock on my cell phone go from 1:59 to 1:00, and I have to say, I definitely feel like I went back in time, and it was amazing.

I was up until about 3 with the new time change and hit the 2k mark for my NaNo story and the one I started spur of the moment last night, so we'll see how those go.
