2,775 words and I'm calling it a day. That's my prologue done. Granted it is a long prologue, though it may or may not become my first chapter; I haven't decided. But I am very happy. It's not the greatest writing in the world, but it's there. I really did have to resist the urge to go back and rewrite it. :P

I'm struggling with editing and confusion here. I write something and it's going well and then I realise it's completely inconsistent. I switch from summer to winter, day to night all with a page.
But I have written something and I'm hoping to pass 2k tonight. I'm hoping word count will accelerate as the characters and locations solidify. However as a first year, this may not happen ?!?
PS Can I just add that this is more fun than I thought? I keep wondering what my characters are doing - much better than a DVD!!

I think I'm on track. I written a couple of scenes which came to about 1000-1200 words each. This made me realise I would need about 50 scenes to make the word count! Aahh the importance of planning ;)

4,268 words for day three. That brings me to 10,407 words in total. I am very happy. I'm so glad I finished my essay yesterday. I have so much more time to write. Not sure how much I'll get done tomorrow since I have to go to my kindy placement in the morning and work tomorrow afternoon/evening, but I'll try and do the daily word limit at least.

Okay, so when I woke up today I told myself if I could write 2.5k today and reach 10k I'd be happy. I then extrapolated things a bit. If I were to maintain the pace I've been at over the last 4 days, I'll reach 50k by day 20. Now, while that'd be awesome, I'm a little doubtful. But we'll see how we go.
