Not quite a hangover but I am tired and sluggish from a night out! But I'm working today anyway so tomorrow, on my day off is where I will really shine!

I'm quite enjoying it, imagining writing with other people, feeling the sense of community, hoping no-one notices that I've just spent ten minutes fiddling with the spreadsheet of my progress... cup of tea, I think.

Cheers,

David.

Very good night for me at the write-in; it was a very enjoyable night as well, a big kudos to the ML's for arranging it! Now I need sleep! *grin*

Now that's dedication, especially if you're on 12000 words! Good luck to you!

I got sent to bed at half six yesterday evening. I only got up half an hour ago.

Other than the fact I seem to be hyper-aware of everything around me, I regret nothing.

Bring on..... this evening!

I am nudging 5k after the first day, and trying not to be discouraged by the notion that around 4.5k of the words I have written are ahem, awful. Although the story is barrelling along with pace, which gives me some measure of hope for the whole thing. This inner editor dies hard.

This is exactly why I'm a day late starting. I couldn't even look at a computer screen let alone do some writing. That and I was at work for 6 hours as well. Going to work now but I've managed 700 words so far. Got some major catching up to do.
