Day 1: 7625 - I love it when a plan comes together! Unfortunately, I now have exams to focus on for a while. So it'll be a LOT less. Hmmm.

Day 2: 10587 - Was SUPPOSED to be studying yesterday. Oh well! :)

Not as much as some, but I was quite please with how much I churned out on my first ever NaNo writing day: Day 1 - 2,775 words. It was more than Cait_defygravity_Chatzy anyhow. *grins evilly*

And my goal for today was reach 5K, and I got to 6K with 3,354 words, and that was with about four hours work on my essay (finished! yes!) and my riding lesson. I would write more, but I'm watching Criminal Minds atm and I have to get up early tomorrow. :P And I left it at a point where I really want to write so it's an incentive for tomorrow.

Keep going everyone (but especially OPRers).

Day 1: 2,055 (Very happy for my first day of NaNo)
Day 2 @Midnight: 585 (Less so, but I did write also write a 1,500 plot outline which is pointing me in the right direction... I hope)

Total: 2,640

We'll see how tomorrow goes, but I'm not competing per-se, just doing my own thing as a NaNo freshman :P

Day 1: 2483
Day 2: 4071 (total)
Day three: 6115

And I don't plan to write any more tonight. I'm tired. Still, I'm happy with my 2k words per day, and that should get me way over the mark and leave room for skipped days.

I don't know how you 10K plus words a day do it. It's insane! I get bored and run off and get distracted.

Finished for day 3 at 5556 words. I was stoked, I've been bragging about it for the last few hours to my friends. Then I saw some people's target. Good thing my ego is HUMUNGOUS. But I did an English short story, a SOSE essay, and studied for my Italian and Vietnamese tests today as well, so it's a good day.

However, my wordcount stands at 25,198 at the end of day 13. *sleeps*

Also passed the 30,000 mark. I think I tripped over the second week wall and hit my face on the cement on the other side... and then got up and started running again.

I'm running with a broken nose and a slightly twisted ankle, but I'm still running.

just cracked the 12000 mark this morning. I know I'm miles behind where I should be, but I have just spent a week in hospital without a functioning laptop to help keep my wordcount up. In the last 24 hours I've managed to more than double my previous wordcount so I figure I can't be doing too badly as far as catchup is concerned.

I am loving the imagery of this. I read it and went, "No, I think I'm still pressed against the wall so hard I left an imprint on the other side," D:

I've only just passed 12K. Not good I know, but I started a week late, and had an exam to study for. And I've had work, parties, and graduation on Friday.

I'm really looking forward to increasing my words once I have more time.

As far as the second week wall was concerned, I think I just tried to smash it with my fist and broke my hand as a result = fail...

I'm fairly sure I've only just cracked 20K, arrg! I'm so far behind!
Funny that I'm only onto the 4th chapter of 15, how many words will this be when it's completed?

I've been having serious body clock issues this last week, and have been sleeping so much that I went two whole days without writing anything :0

Now is the time to start committing myself to this and actually finish a piece of writing for the first time in years... good luck to me I guess...

You're behind? I haven't even cracked 3000 words this year.

Not only have I had to contend with that horrible heatwave with weather over 40 almost every day up here in the Riverland, both my desktop and laptop have been hit by a virus, which I'm in the process in reinstalling everything.

So I've resigned myself to the fact that I won't be making 50K this year. My goal is now to reach 10K by the end of the month. I have found that my story is going to be a novella/novellete length this time.
