Hey all, a lot's gone on in the Bangor area, namely the loss of one of our Wrimo's, Rigelk. He passed away this summer from complications of his life-long disabilities. As he was my stepdad it's been hard on myself (as well as Tikimother, his soul-mate and my mother.) Also being without a vehicle has kinda altered travel plans. That and the fact my laptop has gone AWOL with most of my info on it (at least I managed to copy over my writing folder before it went AWOL on me.) But, Bangor is not without it's write-ins.
Write-ins will be held at the Bangor Public Library from 10am-4pm (weather aside) on Saturday the 21. If anyone wants to have a (not really that quiet) write-in you can come to the Airport Mall on Saturday the 7th and Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th as I'll be there at the craft show.
Hopefully by next year I'll have a working vehicle so we can have more write ins and at a better location. Hopefully.

A couple of us had a little write-in-like get together tonight, once again at the Old Town Tim Horton's and it was a lovely time. We didn't get a lot of writing done, but it was nice to touch base with everyone. :] For those interested, let us know here, and we can set more up.
We're also planning a wonderful "Thank God it's Over" Party that will have lots of delicious goodies at my apartment after the end of the month. :]
Oh, and kitty_0_kat, MissCellanea, I am currently watching "Secret Window" because of our beautiful chat about Stephen King, and it's going to inspire me to write my own horror story.
Not to mention, I do believe...people die via shovel of death in this? :]
It ties in quite lovely!

I'm thinking on popping over to Tim Horton's in Old Town tomorrow (Nove 13) after 5 for a couple hours. Anyone care to join me?

I'm having some friends up tomorrow, but they might be up for hanging out a little bit. I'll see if they're interested at all. One is a fellow writer, although she's not participating in NaNo.
I will, however, probably be at T-Ho's Saturday night after work again, like last week, at least for a little while. :] Around 6:30, if anyone wants to join me.
We need to make these more frequent. They're fun!

I'll head over to Tim Hortons whenever other people are interested in showing up. I'm behind schedule so I'd like to sit down and have some dedicated writing time somewhere with few distractions.

Yay! I'm glad you're going to try and make it as well, Jay. :] I agree completely. I need somewhere I can focus and not be distracted.
I was completely distracted last time, haha. So this time I plan to stay focused.

Boo hoo! Can't do Saturday. They scheduled me to work. Employers tend to frown on it when you don't show up for those types of things. So it's tonight for me!

I can be there Saturday, I'll need it after a day of training someone.
This time it will be nose to the grindstone, mostly.
We'll miss you while you're working Sue. Sadly, the paycheck comes first.

So sad, I'm scheduled to work tomorrow night (the 14th) and nect Saturday night (the 21st). I'm also busy Sunday night. But I'm up for any weeknight write-in next week, about 5:30 ish on, if anyone's interested.

Will do!
I probably won't be at Tim Horton's until later on tonight. A little past 7 perhaps. I have to grab a few things after work, so I have a bit of running around to do. But I will be there! I promise you! :]

Just a reminder! Tomorrow night there will be a write-in again at the Tim Hortons in Old Town. I will probably be there around 6, for quite a while. (I'll bring my computer plug this time, so I can actually work for extended periods of time. Haha.)
PLEASE, feel free to join us! There were so many of us at the kick-off, so it'd be nice to get in touch with everyone again! We'd really love the company! :]

Is there still going to be a write-in this Saturday? I might be able to make it. If I can convince my parents, anyway. They're still pretty convinced everyone on the internet is out to totally kill me. XD

The Write-In is going to be Saturday 11/21 at the Bangor Public Library (in the main reading room) from about 10am until about 1 or 2 pm. There will be a table sign designating where we are. We shouldn't be too hard to miss.

I meant we, because my evil partner will be with me. It would have been just myself if plans hadn't changed. I just keep forgetting to mention my evil partner (fellow NaNo'er Tikimother, that is.)

I'm here at the library, able to connect to the internet thanks to my DSi. (Although typing is pretty slow for a fast typer like me :/ )
Anyway, we'll (meaning my evil partner Tikimother and myself) be here in the Reading Room with our NaNo sign set up. Due to unexpected changes (don't you just hate those,) we will be leaving the library at 12:30 PM.
Depending on what happens next weekend, if anyone wants to do a Write-in on Saturday the 28th (I know, close to Thanksgiving,) let me know and we can meet up. I had said, way back when, on that weekend right after Thanksgiving I'd be at the Airport Mall for the craft show but like a lot of things this year, those plans have fallen through.
I'll try to keep everyone updated as things go on.
Keep on the good work and let the words flow!

Hello Bangor Area people!
Is anyone at all interested/free to do a write-in on Tuesday? I don't believe I have any classes but I have work at 6, so I was thinking a lunch-time write-in! :D
Anyone interested? We could shake things up a bit and go somewhere else! What do you think?
Have lunch with me? :)

I will be unable to attend a Wednesday one this week, unfortunately. :( I will be out of town, therefore will be probably at the Augusta write-in instead.
:(
But I hope it is still fun!
