As part of Nano each year we are also involved with fundraising. This has been done on a very unorganised basis previously but this year we have 4 main ways we would encourage you to donate. All funds go to Nano. Myself and Sabrina are volunteers and do not earn a single penny from the work we do. The ways we would encourage you to donate are:
1. Sabrina has recorded a Nano song. Some of us got a chance to hear this at the Midnight party on Saturday and I have to say it is very funny and very true to life of being part of Nano. She is asking for a £5 donation for a CD of this song. Please get in touch with Sabrina for more information and consider buying a copy
2. Every official meet we will have a donation tin which you can donate to. At the end of the month we will transfer all funds to Nano as a region. Even if you can just spare a small amount it all counts and does help!
3. When doing a search please consider using http://www.goodsearch.com/ On this search engine you can specify who you would like to donate to - Office of Letters and Light for Nano - and each search you make earns money. The search engine is ran by yahoo so you will be getting good results.
4. Consider purchasing official merchandise. I will be ordering next week so if you would like me to order something at the same time take a look at https://store.lettersandlight.org/merchandise and send me a PM.
