Hey, this is Barry / GreenMan. My brother is participating this year for his first time. He's down in Warren, MI and, as far as I know, hasn't joined a region. I invite you (unbeknownst to him) to add him as a writing buddy. Yeah, okay, I'll let him know. But he could probably use some encouraging words from us "veterans." Thanks Barry. I need all of the added support that I can get. As you know (but these people don't) that writing a novel has been a dream of mine ever since you encouraged me to read for fun (still, as you know, the greatest gift that anyone has ever given me). I keep stating that NaNoWriMo appears to be the flame that I need to be placed under my rear. I just need people to fan it from time to time (fan the flame, not my rear).

How awesome that you're finally writing your novel! I've wanted to finish one for over ten years. Last year was my first NaNo attempt, and I just finished the novel in September. It's such an amazing high. You'll see! :)

Howdy Ho Red Hot Writer LVpoupard!!!! HI There. I am eensybeensyspider aka Cylithria and one of the Three ML's for Michigan::Flint. It is so utterly fantastic you have joined us!!! We have hearted Greenman for a long long times and I am truly honored to now have you as part of our Red Hot Writers lvpoupard!
Hopefully by now you are finding your stride as we write towards 50k in 30 days!! If not please shout out here in the forums. I hope you have set United States::Michigan::Flint as your home region in the My regions tab under the MY NANOWRIMO section of the website toolbar.
