I just moved out to the north side of Cumming and feel like I'm a world away from everything! Are there any write-ins out this way? Everything that's on the schedule is at least an hour away from me :(

You are probably not too far from Gainesville or Johns Creek. There are meet ups scheduled for both cities on the calendar.

The johns creek write in is straight down 141 (otherwise known as Peachtree Parkway), at 141 and mcginness ferry, do depending on where in Cumming...
I believe ML Jazzy lives in Cumming. I'm sure she'll pop on here soon

Unfortunately, I'm on the Canton side of things. I checked both Johns Creek and Gainesville, everything's almost an hour away. It's so irritating being so far away!
How on earth are you 20k in already? That's positively inhuman!

Hi lapixystix,
I live in the Cumming area and would love to get together for a write-in, maybe at the Atlanta Bread Company or something. I work odd shifts so there no one day to schedule anything. Let me know what your schedule is like and we can set up something.

I live in the Cumming area too! If you guys are planning anything, count me in. I'm a highschool senior at Pinecrest off of Exit 13.
I might not be able to go this weekend, friday or saturday, but maybe sunday night or during the weekdays.

I too have a very odd schedule (I wait tables part time so of course that's all over the place). My sure bets are Tuesdays anytime and Sundays after 4, but really it depends on the week.

I am in Cumming, somewhere in the middlish, and when you drive out of my neighborhood you can see the lake straight ahead, since some mean people chopped down trees. :( My directions would be very bad, since I am only 13 and don't pay much attention to drivingaroundness.
I'll probably be going to the Johns Creek Write-ins.

I really dislike being thirteen and living in Cumming during the month of November. My mean parents refuse to take me to a write in. I'll make them crack, though. Just wait and see. I need to be around real, tangible writers to survive this. D8 (My only writing friends were people I met at camp who live all across the country. We keep in touch, but it would be really nice to talk to them in person instead of via chatrooms on gmail.)
I'll see if he'll take me to the Gainsville or the John's Creek one this week. It's my birthday on Sunday (Technically I'm not a legal NaNoer for another week. ^^;) so he owes me.

I just talked to my friend - Roarscream on here, if you're curious - and we think we'll most likely be showing up tomorrow ^_^

I'm 13 and I live in Cumming too! :D I was planning on going to the Johns Creek write-in, but it seems there's one in Cumming too at Atlanta Bread Company. I hope to see you somewhere! I'm lonely writing this novel and since none of my friends are both 13 and writers, I'm all alone.
