Hi everybody! Don't forget that tonight at 6 pm we meet at the Cinema Grill, which is at Alameda and I-225. See the calendar for map and directions.
It's a great theater, charging only 4 bucks for a ticket and offering a full menu of food at ordinary restaurant prices (more or less). You don't have to order anything if you don't want to.
This is a purely social event, no writing. Meeting at 6, we will have our choice between "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and "Time Traveler's Wife". We can vote at the time. There's also "Surrogates" but it doesn't start till 7, so we'll probably give it a miss.
I'll be the short round person standing around outside the theater looking hopeful, possibly with a couple of hulking teenagers. Come join us!

Hey, everyone! Due to the poor turnout for the first Cinema Grill Social, I would like to ask for RSVPs on the second. It's the 17th, at 6 pm. The Cinema Grill is a fun theater, with food and drink and movies, and is very inexpensive. We meet there at 6 pm, unless the movie everybody really wants to go to is earlier. Which we will have to discuss as it gets closer. They change movies on Friday, I believe, so discuss at the write-ins between Friday and the 17th!
Anyway, please RSVP here if you are interested in this event. If we don't get any RSVPs by the Friday preceding it, I will cancel the event and take it off the calendar. So speak up!

Okay, complete lack of interest in this has led me to take it off the calendar! Those who are interested in movies and socializing, without paying anything at all, are welcome to join us the Friday immediately after Thanksgiving for the MST3K movie social at my house!
