Looking for West St. Paulers to join me for a write in. I am open to suggestions of a good place. Wentworth Library or Riverside Library could work on a week night or weekend.

I'm here in West St. Paul and would love to do one here. Evenings during the week are about the only times that I would be able to do one.

Hey, my friend Agate Roads!

I don't live far from West St. Paul, either. You could set up a write in, then advertise it and see who comes! (Directions are at the top of the Twin Cities page).

Nice to see you posting!

:-)

So sorry to just learn Wentworth Library is closed for Veterans Day wed. , Nov 11! And oddly, the librarian I talked to had never heard of National Novel Writing Month and did find it even interesting. Her great loss!

So. Let's meet at Wentworth Library the next day, Thurs, Nov 12 6:30 - 8:30. They won't give us our own room because we're not registered at a nonprofit, but we can group at any open table. I'll put a folded paper sign saying NaNoWriMo on the table. We may not have electrical outlets avail, so our computers will be on batteries.

It's a start. May find better places to meet in West St. Paul. Or Wentworth library may be terrific.

This is so awesome! I live just down the road, talk about convienent. The librarians there are always so crabby, except the children's librarian. She's the sweetest. See you there and thanks for setting this up!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I worked at the Duluth Public Library while I was in high school. At Wentworth, I've never seen such a bunch of crabby librarians.

Unfortunately, Thursday nights aren't good for me.

Have fun and good luck everyone!!

I checked out Wentworth for electrical outlets and they are there for us! When you enter the library, angle right, then hang a left around the corner into the periphery of the big room. Nice tables up against the wall, I'll get one for us thursday and put out a sign saying "NaNoWriMo".

I did have a conversation with a very excited librarian at Wentworth a couple years ago. She was pleased as punch that an author of one of the vampire series books was coming the next day to speak.

I went over to the Wentworth library tonight but could not see any nano signs. Were you there tonight? Everybody looked like they were studying or reading. Maybe I can catch the next one. It seemed like a good location with plenty of space.

The sign had fallen flat on the table. That may be why you didn't find us. It was Agate Roads and myself. It was great. Personally, I got more accomplished than I had planned. Maybe we can get one set up next week? Tuesday or Thursday would probably work the best for me. Let me know I can try to set it up.
