Right now the hardest part of all this is to control my inner editor. The last novel I wrote I edited as I wrote and I edited each chapter individually as i went. Then had an outside source prrofread each chapter as I went. This is so far out of my norm that I am going crazy. I just want to spend a day and tear my work apart and make it better. But for now I will smoke a pipe and forget about all my weak sentences and confusing phrases. But by God in December the red ink will fly.

i think you'll be surprised at how amazing scenes you'll write when you're unfettered by the process of editing. Sure, you'll write some crap, but you'll write some really great stuff that you wouldn't write if you weren't just flying through the journey with nothing but your imagination and grasp of the English language on board.

keep plugging away, and NO editing! ;)

Yeah, I'm going crazy right now without editing. I think my novel is one long run on sentence and I just want to go back and fix it!!!!! But, I'm pressing on...ok, I've gone back a few times, but that's only after I get my daily word count in.

MY current angst is that I have allowed the novel to take on a alighly different persona and to make it all workd I am going to have to revise some in the beginnig. Ugh, I will just have to wait.
