I find myself feeling competitive with Maryland! What would really motivate me: a regional word war...

xD I used to live in Maryland.
(But they're kind of cheating. I mean, the WHOLE state of Maryland against little ol' Northern Virginia?)
I check the Regional Word Count Scoreboard all the time, though.
I'm still pretty proud of us. Although I want to keep climbing.

What if we use the WHOLE state of Maryland against NoVa and DC combined? That might even the score a bit (VA is too big as a whole to compete against MD as a whole).

The scoreboard should really rank by average, not total. In fact, I'm going to write the good nano folks right now...

We are, at the moment, in 17th place :) Which I think is great. I never understood how the Twin Cities ranked so high, even when I was an ML there...
In any case, if you'd like to do a regional word war we can certainly look into it...I've had bad luck with them in the past, but that doesn't mean it can't work ;) And we can war with more than one region at a time, if you'd like. Let me know and I'll contact their ML's and we'll get something set up.
