Salut! Je m'appelle Amanda et j'ai une licence en français de Wright State (Dayton, OH). Je n'ai pas vu un groupe pour les francophones, alors j'en ai créé un :) Au lycée, j'ai commencé à étudier le français et j'ai continuié à l'université. L'année denière, j'ai étudié à la Catho (Angers, France) pendant 3 mois. J'ai fait partie du programme CIDEF avec cet université et c'était bien passé. Mes cours préférés étaient la traduction et le français familier (je le kiffe!). Avant cela, j'ai passé 2 semaines à Paris et 1 au Pays Basque avec un groupe d'étudiants. Bon, c'est tout pour moi, je pense :)

J'ai changé les paramètres de mon clavier de "English [United States] - US" à "English [United States] - International" et je peut taper les accents. J'ai un PC, ça ne marche pas avec un Mac. (Je vais continuier en anglais pour un moment):
I used to use the ALT codes to get my accented keys or use the Character Map, but one of my profs showed me how to change the keyboard setting so you can just use an apostrophe/comma/etc to accent a letter.

Date, Time, Language and Regional Options
Regional and Language Options
On the window that pops up, choose the Languages tab, then Details
Another window pops up, select English [United States] - International from that menu
The name will pop up under Keyboard in the "Installed Services" field below that, make sure that it's highlighted/in bold and press OK and close out of the remaining windows.
You won't have to restart for the settings to take effect.
To make é - type ' followed by e. *If you just want an apostrophe or quotes, press your space bar right after typing them*
è - ` followed by `
This is the same for all similarly accented letters.
For ç - ' followed by c
----------The same goes for capitalized, just do C and ' or whatever letter you wish to type. I had a lot of French papers to write in college, so this made my life so much easier. Hope it helps!

Bonjour mes amis! Je n'ai pas les accents, donc je vais ecrire sans les accents, j'espere que tu vas comprendre! J'ai etudie le francais depuis six ans, et maintenant j'etude pour mon 'A Level'. J'ai dix-sept ans, et j'essaye de parler francais quand j'ai l'opportunite. Je veux toujours ameliorer mon francais, et je trouve que c'est une tres belle langue. C'est tout pour moi, je pense; a tout a l'heure!
