Hahah thanks! I used Write or Die. I wrote 1798 words in 71 minutes. Not quite under my self imposed time limit, but that was quite a lot of words in quite a short time.

I was gonna go to the first of the Write Ins, but I think I'm on a roll here instead =D Just under 700 words away from my personal target for the day, but we'll see how far I can get, since I've been so behind

That's still an impressive number of words. *does celebratory dance and song* Keep rolling!

edited to ask: How does the Write and Die thingy work? I gather my ibook will not suddenly sprout a whiplash to punish me when I don't write, will it? :-p

another edit:
700 words can be easily done in a 30 min word war. :-)

Both true =P

I gave myself a 30 minute biscuit and chat break, because I felt I'd earned it.

Write or Die - you set a word amount, you set a time limit. As long as you keep typing, you're golden. If you hesitate, the screen starts changing colour, and if you keep hesitating, it starts making an annoying noise to punish you. Basically, it's just to encourage you to keep typing, with a little pressure and a bit of a deadline, which some people [like me] need.

Thank you for celebrating for me =D

Ooh, then maybe I should try the WoD app. Another day.

No prob on the cheering on/celebrating part. I was in a cheering mood anyway since I've managed to reach my word quota for the first time today. Awesome feeling, that. *giddy grin*
