I'm going to assume it's just me - or just fanfiction.net, which is the site I'm using to store my writing. I updated earlier with 12,666 words (says ff.net) and the NaNo counter only gave me 12,000 words. That's quite a difference! (I'm trying to not pay attention to the exact number difference in this case, it's very unsettling.) Anyway, yesterday, it was 500 words off, so It seems to increase each time I update.
If it is just fanfiction.net, does anyone have any suggestions of what I can use, instead? (Free and easy would be paramount.) Thank you much!
