This is driving me crazy.
I wrote:
"He must have snuck out."
And spellcheck is saying it's wrong.
Sneeked sounds worse, and spellcheck still says it's wrong.

What do I do?
What word do I use?

According to Dictionary.com, quoting the American Heritage Dictionary, it was originally 'sneaked', but snuck was later added as an Americanism, and is gaining popularity. So you can use whichever you like better.

It's near the bottom of this page

I just realized my terrible spelling mistake. Ah, well, that's why I shouldn't post or write when I'm half asleep.
But, thanks. I think I'll stick with snuck. It sounds better to me. There's some slang in my story so far, anyways.
