So, I just got to an exciting part. And guess what my inspiration does?

Did you guess?

If you guessed that it dumped me, leaving me on the verge of an amazingly exciting chapter, the point in my story where things finally start happening, and I can pick this up and go places with it, then you guessed correctly!
If you didn't guess that, than it's okay. Better luck next time.

I suppose I should be happy, because my word count is WAY higher than I expected it would be by day Five. I had just hoped to get this exciting part written down, so I could finally get this story going places. Stupid inspiration. x.x

My muse did that too. He came back after I promised him chocolate pudding though.

Same here. My characters are about to go hunt down werewolves, after nearly 10,000 words of intro and exposition, but I seem to be having trouble getting them out of the airport...

Maybe I should try that chocolate idea.

Yeah, that just happened to me, too. I'm on the verge of a scene that's actually going to start up some action, reveal the big baddies, some major butt-kicking. I was all so pumped to write it...

...and now I'm sitting here watching cartoons and browsing the forums. I'm not sure if my inspiration dumped me, but my motivation's moved out and neglected to leave a forwarding address :(

If your inspiration bumps into mine, could you tell it to come back home? I'm getting lonely.

"When the hero develops this sort of arrogance, it always ends dreadfully. Look at Icarus. Fellow with the wings, have you read that one?"
"I think so."
"That is precisely where we find ourselves now."
