Why do you have to distract me so much!?!?!

I wrote all of 10 words before checking out a website no one has updated in 6 YEARS.

I'm STUPID.

The Guild! I wish there was more on YouTube.

My friends are distracting. And most of them I can't see 'cause they live in far away states, so I chat with them. And that is bad. Evil evil friends, even if they *are* doing NaNo.

i've actually been pretty good about not being distracted. I've even been watching tv while writing and haven't had any problems.
For the interwebs i close all tabs except for one and i leave that open to teh googles in case i need to do some spot research.
I just have to remember to stay away from solitaire...

i would probably not be so easily distracted except for the fact that my novel is boring the hell out of me so far and ANYTHING is more exciting than staring at the blinking cursor.

I've got the double whammy going:

1) Currently at my day job, with my Google Doc and a Write or Die window open.
2) Distracting myself from working *AND* writing by surfing Etsy and reorganizing my hard drive.

Yeah. I brought my hard drive to work today. NERD.
