Where are we meeting tomorrow to resolve this abysmal word count issue?

I won't make it to IHOP ... I'm in Florida! But they have Waffle Houses here, and I plan on going to a Waffle House, for sure! For the ambience, of course. And they DO have good waffles.

Im going to act my age (or younger) and giggle about the 69 comment.
Im giving today up as a lost cause, and making it a 休み (yasumi, or break). I need a day off, and I have a couple of days to spare, so as long as we get moving to like 22500 tomorrow, Im in good shape. Might write a tiny bit tonight, but taking a break is good for me hahaha.

This is likely to be a good word count day for me. I have to go to the laudromat, which means sitting somewhere I don't want to talk to the people. Good writing. Then I have a meeting at the Sheriton Bloomington which is likely to be a lot shorter than my husband's meeting, so again I'll be left to my wits this time around people who understand NaNo even if they don't participate.
By the time I do get home, I will be free to do things other than write if I so choose. Tomorrow won't be as easy. After interpreting church I have another meeting, and I won't be left alone in strange places so much. I'd better take what time I have today and get ahead again.

I wrote 3k at two write-ins yesterday and got up to 10k! Huzzah! I think I may try to journey to a coffee shop sometime today and write my 1667. I have a lot of hw to do that I've been avoiding, though. Oh, and I slept in until 11, that was amazing!

I wanted to go to write-ins or to meet friends today, but school thought it would be fun to make all my papers due in November. Do the want to crush all our novel dreams? Not to mention my weekend plans. Ha...

Did a little writing this morning, first thing. I should remember that this is a good writing time for me because i'm more of a mornng person and if I write first, then I don't let distractions get in my way. In the evening, I tend to stare off into space more and even slip into dozing, right in front of my computer.
But yard work was the main agenda of the day, since it's so nice and sunny outside and all the leaves in our yard had finally fallen and there were a lot. I wish the 893,527 leaves we raked and bagged today would count toward my work count!
Very productive... but more words to write!

I am dreadfully behind. So right now, I'm catching up. I'm in my kitchen, drinking tea, listening to a Beethoven CD I bought for 50 cents today. I feel so classy it's unbelievable. Sure puts me in the writing mood.

Went to a class on looking for inspiration in spiritual texts but after a while, I felt like I was writing so much "old lady puppies and rainbows" poetry that I zoned out after the lunch break and didn't really participate. I did bring my Neo and a notebook so I could work on NaNo during lunch. I'll type it up and report word count on it in a little bit, since I hand wrote as I ate (easier to hold half a tuna sandwich in my left hand and my pen in my right).

I'm over here, tapping my fingers impatiently to see how much you got while I was eating at Denny's, finishing Wild Mind and watching tv (OLD NEWS), Andy. Hey, did you know Chicago is in the running for the olympics? Obama is going there to try to get the IOC to vote Chicago, and Oprah's going there, too.
What, are we racing to 15,000? I suppose that ain't exactly fair unless you want to rig it and claim 15,000 before I start writing today.
But I don't want to keep racing the whole month.
Let me know. I propose racing to 20,000 or less. Your thoughts?

Blah! I haven't written a word all day... First I went through all the kids clothes we had left from our garage sale, then we took the fall and winter ones to Once Upon A Child, came home and raked, went back and got most of what we'd dropped off and a check for $47, took the rest of the clothes etc. to a different Once Upon A Child, went and had an early supper, went back and again picked up most of what we dropped off and a $5 bill (woopee), came home and bagged leaves and burned leaves, roasted marshmallows, treated an injured rib (my boy ran through the dark and fell over the top to the fire pit, hurting a rib, not breaking it [thankfully]) and took a shower, bathed my boy, waiting for my girl to take a shower and now I sit, hurting from the raking and bagging, wondering what to do with my novel now that they are in the air. so BLAH! Still hope to get at least the 1667 in before midnight. Did I mention my hubby hates NaNo? Hence the very busy day... But then again, it was so nice out... (:

Still sick. Which apparently means I must get up at around 2 AM and write a little more than a thousand words. Oh, and cough periodically and sleep incessantly.
Am half watching Bruce Willis in the The Kid and now want a sandwich."Safety in sandwiches." How did I ever miss such a cool line?

I've learned today that the easiest way to throw an extra word or two into my dialogue (huh, my computer thinks that's spelled wrong, but my dictionary says otherwise) is to add a few swear words here and there. It may not be pretty, but they're words! Hooray words!

Well, I've got the alien speaking in formal English, not using contractions so I'm getting word count there. I fell asleep for about an hour in front of the TV, just before The Big Reveal at the end of Divine Design (it was an episode I'd seen before: they loved it, she loved it, he loved it, they all loved it, Candice told her not to start crying, it was just another great big Love Fest) (and this is different from other episodes HOW?) (sometimes, the guy isn't there), so I missed that. Turned off the TV when Dear Genevieve was starting up and slept for about another half an hour. Now my neck's messed up but I managed to shi...crank out almost 2400 words this evening. I've got a decent word count banked and I could possibly take tomorrow off, but that's what you'd expect, EH, BRIAN?! I'd say "w00t" but I'm still too tired. Have to get up early again tomorrow for another class at the Loft. Hope I'm home in time for Ed, Edd, and Eddy's Big Picture Show. Either way, I'm already fretting over what I'll be making for dinner (fret, fret, fuss, fuss, fret, fret, fuss, fuss...)
