That's right folksies! Part II!!! I'm reviving a fairly fun thread that I started back in 2007. All you gotta say is what is happening in your novel. Sometimes it helps to explain it to someone else. Right now my MMCs are both thinking the same sorts of thoughts about a situation, but are too stubborn to admit it to one another. ---------- |

I'm in.
Right now my 11 year old MC just retrieved a relic he needs off a fire god idol in a Head Hunter's camp, turned to show it to his Big Foot side kick and discovered that the head hunter's leader is standing there pointing a spear at his throat.
And I'm really not sure what will happen next, so, uh, if anyone has some ideas... :-)

Well, my FMC just got herself out of a sticky situation by killing two of her kidnappers and re-animating their corpses to use against their allies.
My MMC didn't even notice she was kidnapped, so she's gonna be a little peeved about that.

Right now a hardened PI and a bumbling archeologist are in a Chicago crypt wondering why the hell there's Hieroglyphics all over the place. Next they're going to get some mafia help and break into a university library to steal some textbooks. It's all good though, because they're saving the world from a millenia-old cosmic horror who's just days away from breaking through the walls to our world and turning it into a sucking void for all eternity.

Well, my MCs have just jumped off a bridge.
Seriously.
They did to avoid getting eaten by a massive horde of zombies. Of course, they landed in a conveniently placed canal at the bottom, so they all survived and were rescued by a nice old man in a conveniently placed canal barge. His granddaughter is now giving the FMCs dry clothes.

My MC is about to learn that the job she took on to 'help out' her single dad in paying the bills is now quite important because he got fired and, in this economy, good freaking luck finding a job! The dough she brings home (about $340 per paycheck, $680 for the month) will be the only thing paying their rent ($600) and everything else. And she thought it was tight before when the cupboards were bare and she had nothing to bring in for lunch...

Right now, on my reality series, all of the characters are waiting for their cues. And my first MC is pretending to call her 'boyfriend' who has stood her up tonight. Something tells me that she's going to disobey my wish for her to forge ahead with her showmance and meet someone a lot more interesting instead. My second MC is remaining silent and refuses to be written. I hate them both at the moment.

My MC has just announced that he will infiltrate the enemy camp, alone, to find out where they got this new metal from which they make their extremely leathal weapons (Roman-like fantasy setting getting introduced to the wonderful stuff called 'iron') and take out their forges.
His best friend actually thinks this is a good idea.

Augustin gives Liederic a box, and tells him to give it to the queen. In the box is an ornate cloak pin and a red woolen cloak. Liederic thinks is it just a pretty present for the queen, but there is more to it than that...
