“When I run out of plot ideas, write about setting and what each character is wearing, in exquisite wordy detail. When I run out of setting and apparel, write about the voice quality of each speaker, speech mannerisms, facial ticks, body language.”
Did you all read this in Gail Carson Levine’s NaNoWriMo pep talk?
OMG, I LMAO over this. Why? When all else fails, I have noticed that my character make love and go out to eat—a lot!.
What have you noticed that you do to extent your writing time and move the story forward?
