And not, like I did, on Saturday. No, I didn't lose any work. What I lost is the opportunity to write. Windows 7 will still be around come 1 December. Resist the urge to upgrade. I wish I had. |

Hmmm. Did you have trouble? I had none at all -- up and running in about an hour. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with it, I can say that Windows 7 has been fantastic for me so far. Of course, I didn't do the upgrade during NaNoWriMo, so, that may be part of it!
I hope you end up happy with it as I am so far!

No, I didn't have a problem with it. I'm a big computer geek, so I had to get everything set up just right. That's where the time suck went.

This really isn't funny, but I had to laugh. LOL
We installed a new and **faster** modem and I was just a wee bit huffy during the installation process (what if, what if, what IF it doesn't work and I can't write today??).
I feel bad about it now. A little.
