Congratulations to Kittygomeowr for being the first in our region to pass the 50k mark. you are awesome. You have keep me on my toes as well. I thought last night i might make it before you, you really made me work for it this year.

You are also an inspiration to everyone in our region because if you can do it in 8 days then everyone should take note that if they are behind they can still finish by putting in some awesome days of work like you have. Congratulations again.

Congrats, kittygomeowr -- and, knowing you, I'm sure you actually constructed a story rather than 50K+ words of doorstop. Your fiction-writing productivity is impressive, as always.

Thank you everyone! The novel isn't done yet by far, but draft zero is progressing acceptably. Zombie, I kept on eyeing your status bar as inspiration to keep me writing. You only have a couple hundred more to go! So close! I only made it so far this morning because I was at work with no excuses not to write. :)
For everyone out there who's struggling keep at it. Write whenever you have a spare fifteen minutes, even a spare minute. Don't give up!

Wow, congrats! That's most impressive. And I enjoy the description of your story, too!

A big shout out to Emmie Fisher, our third FoCo winner! Three people in the green and the month isn't even half gone yet - if that isn't testament to the power of FoCo (and the stamina of our three early birds!) what is? Congratulations Emmie! Much confetti and cheering for you!

Yay us! I was running like crazy to get to my 50 since Molly was only a couple hundred words short. I updated my word count, texted my friend Tara Janzen that I finished, and saw that Molly made it in that short period of time. Thanks for keeping me motivated Molly!
