Synopsis: Writing Buddies

Two friends have gotten along really well most of their lives until they both start writing novels and end up competing against each other instead of supporting each other.

Excerpt: Writing Buddies

“Okay, let me know what you think. I’m all about getting good story notes.” Daryl clears his throat and pulls on his beard a little like you would stroke a cute little kitty cat that’s latched onto your chin with its tiny, precious claws. “Two friends have gotten along really well most of their lives until they both start writing novels and end up competing against each other instead of supporting each other.” Daryl’s head bobbing returns and the irony of his novel’s premise is not lost on the frowning friend, either.
“You’re joking.”
