Synopsis: Vietnam (Muon Nam Muon Nam)

It’s been twenty-four hours since I’ve come back from Vietnam and I still haven’t quite thought this through. Right now, I will write everything – everything – and leave censorship and editing to later. This is going to take a really long time, but hey – anything that gets me back into the rhythm.

I have 1309 photographs exactly from the two memory cards. Most of them are repeats; I estimate I have only about 500 I would actually keep if I were strict on myself, and about 100 that I am not too ashamed to show anyone else. But the reason I took so many was not for show; it was to preserve the memories and mood of the trip.
Already as I walk around RJC the ‘Vietnam’ feel is fading away, and the trip is rapidly becoming a remote memory.

But enough has happened that I want to preserve it.

And so, with my photographs as my guide, I will do my best.
