Synopsis: ...um--okay, look, I don't have one yet. But I will.
Picture a small town--no, I mean really small.
Now isolate it from human contact--no, I mean really isolate it.
Imagine that there is no conceivable road to get in or out of it, and that almost every logical path will just lead you around it so that you never knew it was there. Assume that you need to be nearly dead, wandering and freezing in some mountain blizzard in order to accidentally stumble upon it.
Got it so far? Well, now say there is one man--one traveling merchant who in circumnavigating the globe passes once a year through this town. No one knows how he finds his way in or out, but he's been coming every year for as long as they can remember, to stay with them for a few weeks of winter.
Now imagine that a second man has found his way there as well. A second merchant, who accidentally stumbled in during a blizzard. Two external influences in a town that can hardly support one, stuck together for a month.
(Role film.)
