Brief Author Bio:

Born near Snohomish, Washington, I moved with my family to Colorado when I was nine years old and have remained here since. I started writing for fun in sixth grade and have never looked back. I enjoy writing fantasy, male slash, and have begun to get into general present-day fiction. My favorite book genre would have to be travel narrative, which allows me to leave my current place and visit Fiji, or hike through the Appalachians with time to swing through the interior of Australia. I am an avid Thoroughbred racing fan and my life goals include visiting Kentucky, meeting my all-time favorite racehorse, Invasor, and traveling all over the world. I'd love to either find a job that keeps me outdoors or maybe a writer for such publications as Bloodhorse, The Thoroughbred Times, or Daily Racing Form. If not, maybe a career in falconry will spontaneously occur -- though this is quite the longshot, I'll admit.

Synopsis: Tasting Stardust

Crowe Devanesque just wanted to ignore his ethnicity amongst his co-workers, and embrace it amongst his friends. Above all else, he wanted to be his own person with his own set of rules, duties, and expectations. But when the ship he works on is forced to doc for repairs on his home planet, the secret's out that he's Shetteranian. To make matters worse, a rumor about invaluable jewels found to the far north on Shetercaing has reached his captain, and the entire crew becomes frenzied with its finding. Being a native of the planet, Crowe is forced to lead.

But because he knows the planet, he knows they're walking into hostile territory. Beyond the Boundary of Midnight, where the planet's perpetual state of twilight abruptly ends into blazing sun, lies the Hanchm, an expansive wasteland filled with dangerous beasts. If the Hanchm doesn't finish them off, then the madness found within the distant swamp of Othingulla will. yet if only it was that simple. Along the way, Crowe begins to discover secrets he harbors but never knew, and dreams of stars and honey-coated whispers and songs begin to plague him in sleep. And now, for a reason tied in with the secrets he's not even aware of, someone has come to hunt him down.

Somewhere, bells are chiming, and midnight is yearning.
