Synopsis: . fallen darkness .

Surrounded by the world of the condemned, being bred to take over the world's strongest Firm of vampires, Alexandra - Lexi - struggles with the conflict of right and wrong, of the condemned and the blessed.
When she finally gets back to what she thought she wanted, she realizes that maybe things weren't as "evil" as she thought. They were her friends, monsters or not. When things finally take a turn for the worst, she is forced to fight for the normalcy she worked so hard to get. She's faced with the decision to embrace the powers and her own monsters in order to defend those she loves, or she can sit back - keep pretending - and watch her world be torn to pieces. How do you tell the person you love that your a monster? Okay, super monster...

"That looks boring." Topher plopped down onto the couch.
"That doesn't mean it doesn't need to be done." she laughed a little.
"You have people who could do these things for you." he grinned.
"I know that you're not offering to do it..."
"Not a chance, but like I said you have people."
"Right, because I'm training an army of super vampires and lycans to unpack my things into my new apartment. Hey, while I'm at it, why don't I have them go pick up my dry cleaning and do the dishes?"
"Wait, you're not doing that?" he raised an eyebrow at her. "What else are low level newbies good for?"
"Foot stools." Brian joined Topher on the couch.
"Foot stools? Excuse me?" Lexi stopped to look at him
"You're excused." Brian smirked.
She stared at him with her hands on her hips, clearly not in approval of the idea that people are supposed to be used as foot stools. Brian just sat there. His face held his usual smug look, not even phased by her glare. He couldn't help but laugh as she tried to intimidate him.
"Honey, you are just too damned little to be intimidating me." he stood up and pulled her onto the couch. "Give it up."
"We do not have people to do our menial tasks." she sighed as she got settled between the two of them.
"Well, you could have people to do the menial tasks. You're just too nice to ask them to." Topher poked her.
"But I'm not." Brian grinned and popped out.
