Brief Author Bio: Two successes since last year: I have a short story forthcoming in the Pisgah Review, and I won an honorable mention in the John Gardner Award for Best Character Description. Before pursuing the literary dream of writing the great American novel, I practiced law for 11 years, drafting legal briefs and memorandum. Now that I'm a recovering attorney, I realize how much more fun it is to make up stories than to convince a judge that my client deserves the money more than the opposing party! |
