Synopsis: Strangle Me Softly
There's a serial killer in town, and he's kidnapping, torturing, and then strangling plus-sized beauties. Detective Brian Carmichael is determined to catch him before he gets to his next target, their mutual obsession: the voluptuous and stunning Ms. Sean Kelly. For her part, Sean can't keep her hands off the hunky detective assigned to keep her safe, and their mutual attraction could spell disaster for the case, and Sean's life.

Sean finally looked up when the door snapped shut. Carmichael was locking the dead bolt, and they were alone. “Your partner left?”
“He went to get this all set up.” He turned around, and she was hit by the full force of his handsome face. His eyes didn’t leave hers as he walked across the room to settle himself on the couch. Sean felt a sensation low in her stomach that had very little to do with fear, and everything to do with the powerful man sitting in her living room. “You can get some sleep now, Sean. I’ll let you know when the other guy gets here.”
“Okay,” she breathed, not sure if her voice could get much louder without cracking. How she could go from nearly panicking over losing her life to a crazy bastard to lusting over the cop protecting her was a mystery, but it was keeping her mind off the bad parts, and that was a good thing. She couldn’t seem to stop staring at him, even as she stood and moved toward her bedroom. “Um, what’s your first name? I feel weird calling you just ‘Detective.’”
He smiled at her, and she felt her body melt and her pussy respond. “Brian. My name is Brian.”
She swallowed. “Thank you, Brian.” She walked carefully to her room, conscious of his eyes on her with every step. As soon as she closed the door, she leaned against it, somehow out of breath. “Well,” she whispered to herself now, “at least I won’t be having nightmares now.”
