Synopsis: Kalevala: Wizards of the Sky, Book One

This really needs some work, but I'm glad I was able to actually get something out for a synopsis. There's also more to it than this, really, but this is the basics of the plot.

When Raewyn was seventeen years old, her father sent her to train as a Royal Guard for the royal family in hopes of giving her a better life. Three years later, Raewyn has been working hard to be promoted and finally be able to protect one of the members of the Royal Family.

One day, she meets an ex-thief who brings her to the hideout of a secret society of wizards. They offer to train her in the ways of their magic when they see a marking on her wrist. Before she is able to answer, she hesitates and leaves.

As events unfold, Raewyn finds herself having to choose between her duty to the crown and the life her father wanted for her and what she is meant to do.
