Synopsis: The Apollo Generation, Bk 2, Dark Side of the Sun

Zander is an Apollo, a boy genetically altered with shapshifter genes and stuck between human and bird form. He is now regaining some of the memory he lost, but a larger crisis is threatening now that he understands what happened to him. He, his brother, sister, cousin, and a mysterious woman named Christine Harris must journey to Colorado in order to rescue his aunt and uncle from the company that gentically altered him and has shattered his family.

Along the way, he discovers the past holds more clues than he ever thought possible as he learns about an Aztec woman named Zyanya through a series of dreams, whom fled from the Spaniards almost 400 years and undertook a dangerous journey north into what is now New Mexico and the Texas Panhandle. Charged with a mission to ensure the safety of two otherworldy gates, Zyanya must keep one step ahead of the Spaniards if she is to stop their disease and lust for gold from destroying more civilizations.

Zyanya and Zander's paths twist and darken as they both learn to trust themselves and make sacrifices they may not be able to live with. The separate courses they travel will determine the fate of more than one world and reshape the course of history.
