Brief Author Bio: I signed up for NaNo in November of 2003 as SteamWillRise in hopes that maybe with the help of NaNo, I could write my greatest novel ever. It didn't happen. Since then, I've attempted NaNo four more times, churned out one horrible piece that clocked at 50k and I will never look at again, one that is currently at 50k and still in desperate need of another 30k before revisions (yay) and maybe I can add another to the list. |

Synopsis: Artisan: A Steampunk Novel (or the trials and tribulations of a suicidal rentboy)
On what was meant to be the last day of winter in the remote town of Artisan, a young man (who calls himself "Noah"), has decided that his life is not worth anyone's time and throws himself off of the bridge at Grovell River.
Just down the river, in the Outskirts of Artisan, a young girl called Abigail is taking a walk, having been in a row with her cousin (who is convinced he will be an inventor and create the next great form of transportation next to the steam train).
For seemingly no reason at all, their lives will become entwined as Noah sets out to have his revenge against those who have ruined his own life.
Excerpt: Artisan: A Steampunk Novel (or the trials and tribulations of a suicidal rentboy)
(Somewhere on the outskirts of Artisan, 1887)
Noah has long wondered what it must feel like, to die.
And as he hits the icy cold water and his body begins to sieze, he thinks he finally knows.
