Legend of Zelda: Twilight Revisited
an excerpt

The clash of metal striking metal rang out through the glade, the sound reverberating in the still air. The sunlight glinted against the locked blades, flaring for an instant before they spilt and danced away from each other. Both blades cut through the air again and again, colliding in a cacophony of sound each time, and Kei could feel each impact shudder down the length of the weapon and up her arm.

The fight had been going on for minutes, but already Kei could feel the sweat on her brow, and the itchy tendrils of moisture on the back of her neck where the ends of her sandy-blond pony-tail brushed teasingly. Her tunic and riding skirt were starting to take on the clingy characteristics of web fabric, and she tried to work a loosening shrug and two-step into her next parry. She was only partially successful, as the blow headed towards her was blocked, but it wasn’t fully turned away. The inconsistent movement of her body allowed the other blade to cut under her guard, and her sword was wrested from her grip. She watched it fly through the air in annoyance, its gentle arc belying its weight.

The touch of steel at her throat signalled the end of the match and she closed her eyes with a sigh. She frowned down at the cool metal pressed against her skin, her eyes following its length back to the hilt, over the hands that grasped it easily and up the torso to meet the intense blue-eyed gaze of her father. They stared at each other for a long moment, before he relaxed his stance and let the blade drop away. A hint of a smile played over his lips, but there was minor reproach in his eyes.

"You did it again, Kei."
