Echo stood up and wearily went to the safe in the back of his store. Opening the combination by memory, he pulled out a dusty leather bound volume tied shut with a leather cord. Returning to the desk, he sat down and opened the book. Flipping to the first empty page in the back, he picked up the pen that was still inside the journal and wrote.
It begins again. Azrael has returned.
