Brief Author Bio: Well...I like to read and write. I've discovered that writing (at least for me) is impossible without reading. I love people, especially women. Most people would call me a lesbian, but a lot of the time, I'm really asexual and vain, and I try to avoid stereotypes. I'm really smart, and I'm graduating with my associate's in May. I graduated from high school last year, so I'm ahead of the game. I want to be a writer; however, I'm logical as well as whimsical, and I know that I need a practical career to support myself, so I'm going to be a flight attendent, a cruise ship steward, and a banker, not all at the same time. :) I love people, meaning I love you, and I'm INCREDIBLY social, which scares people sometimes. I also love flirting and dancing, but am single and (almost) happy about it. I'm in love with a woman named Angela who I'm trying to corner at the moment, but...alas, she just got out of a bad relationship, so the work has been set before me. I only date older women, but my friends tend to be around my age...sometimes. I'll be at UCM next year studying English and Finance, while minoring in Creative Writing. Yes, I am both left and right-brained. That's why I'm constantly fighting with myself and getting nothing done. A typical college student, I like to think. <3 |

Synopsis: DEATH WALKER SEVENTH: Book One: The Dream Walker
Okay, first, nasty, ugly technical stuff...This "book" is actually a series, and however much I can get written in a month (hopefully more than 50,000 words, but probably not) will depend on how far into the plot I get. DEATH WALKER SEVENTH is the name of the four-book series. The Dream Walker=Book One, The River Walker=Book Two, The Shadow Walker=Book Three, and The Death Walker=Book Four. And those titles will mean absolutely nothing to you until you read the books. Ahem, that little half-rant was to inform on the INCREDIBLY long title. :) Also, I hope to publish this series. I've been working with some authors and editors, and I'm centering in on the desired markets for Young Adult readers right now. This book is targeted towards females, though males are welcome to read it, ages 15-25. Of course, an author hopes to ensnare adult and juvenile readers as well in his/her writing, so whateva. I hope you'll all read it once it's in print. *kisses*
Okay, and now for the synopsis:
There has always been Power, just as there has always been a hundred thousand realities, but there is only one reality with Power: the world of Sevenths. Moira David is part of the reality with Power, though she lives most of her young life safely in one without. Torn from those she believes are family and thrust into the world of Sevenths, she discovers that Power rests within her. As the thirteenth pure generation of Power, she has been called to fulfill the lost prophecy; she is the missing link to ending an age-old war. Surrounding her in the city she once called home, but now recognizes as unknown, are those who would kill her, those who would use her, and those who would make her a mistress of Power. Moira must choose between Good and Strength, true family and true love as to whether or not she will live or die. The world of Sevenths becomes crueler and crueler as she realizes her only choice is to die.
I love it! I managed to tell ya'll absolutely NOTHING!! Don't worry; it's worth reading. Just know, it's an urban fantasy with layers and layers of rich history, written from thirteen different perspectives, all centering on a girl whose life really sucks once "adventure" is thrust upon her. WARNING: 1. No vampires, werecreatures, etc., just humans (the most beautiful blend of good and evil in my opinion), and no magic. Magic is not Power. K? 2: Transgender, lesbian, gay, interracial, some language, and lots of death and deception. Don't like, don't read, but find a psychiatrist who will help you understand that those things do exist in the world and that some of them are really wonderful things (you can decide which are wonderful). ;)
