i woke up saturday morning and brushed my teeth and showered and made my bed and then i watched saturday morning cartoons. i kept wishing something interesting would happen cuz it felt like such a lazy boring saturday. finally i got so tired of sitting around so i decided to go for a walk outside. i went outside and walked down the road and it smelled so good outside cuz it rained last night, so the grass and the trees all had that it-just-rained smell. it was a sunny day though, not a rainy day like it was so rainy last night, and the birds were chirping and i was starting to think maybe it wasnt so bad, having a lazy boring saturday. i walked really slow and took my time enjoying the beautiful day. finally after about an hour i thought id go back home, so i made my way back and i was walking up my driveway and my mom came running out. she looked so panicked and i thought she was probably freaking out over some stupid thing like moms do. she ran up to me and hugged me and looked at me with the strangest look in her eyes. i asked her what was going on and then she opened her mouth and told me. and my world fell apart.
