Synopsis: The Decline and Collapse of the Hyrzhog-Burluss Corporation: A Love Story
An aging bureaucrat of the powerful Galactic Hyrzhog-Burluss Corporation is saddled with the governance of a backwater coal-mining town as punishment for his increasing popularity with the Board of Directors (and possibly his gross fraud and embezzlement from company interests). Embittered, guilty, and in failing health, Horace T. Uxorial decides to spend the remainder of his life righting the Corporation's wrongs by bringing it crashing down around the ears of its chairman, Mr. Walter Cyrus Hyrzhog-Burluss, Jr. Up to his neck in mud, provincials and the stresses of administrating an entire mining continent, Mr. Uxorial must find a way to strike back against the Corporation's star-spanning and rapacious might.
Fortunately, he has help. Norton Strong, a freewheeling bounty hunter and former right-hand man of Dodge City's deceased crime lord, and the abducted translator Malintzin, aid and abet their employer in his quest for vengeance, moral redemption and the securing of an adequate retirement package.
