Synopsis: Threshold: A Superhero Novel

Fitz Montgomery is your average teenager. He is captain and quarterback of his High School team, is planning to go to a local, big university, and is able to fly. Being grandson to a local superhero is one thing, but when he is killed in a plot to foil Copper City, his life is turned upside down. Not only that, but the girl he likes is soon mystified by a strange meteor that falls, and is soon able to read minds and know people's deepest thoughts. Now, he has a local branch of government breathing down his neck, a strange society based around Shadow controlling powers, and a local Mad Scientist who happens to be in charge of the biggest corporation in the city.

But Fitz is not alone. With the help of a guy that was once just like him, a lost, high school kid trying to make it through college, Fitz will be able to control his own ability and help bring down a plot to destroy Copper City, and eventually the world.
