Excerpt: Totally Random Story

Molly had spent the days following the message of her friend’s danger pacing back and forth in her chamber waiting for them to return to the castle. She knew they should have never left the safety of her castle. If only she had just kept them there with her. But it didn’t matter now. No, what did matter was that her revenge seeking evil twin was after them at that very moment and she was going to try to help them.
When she received the message, she immediately found her servant Justin and sent him off with some penguins to the King’s Island to bring them back to her castle. She was not entirely sure they would be at the island, but that was her best guess since Emily would try her hardest to bring them there and get free from her captive state.
It had only been two days since she had sent Justin out and she wasn’t expecting them back until tomorrow, yet she still found herself worrying and wondering where they were. Sometime during the day, between lunch and dinner, she heard a knock, or rather a loud bang, on the door of the castle. They couldn’t be back so soon. Molly thought, Maybe they found a short cut, yes that’s it, they found a faster way back.
Molly rushed into the entry way to greet them and bring them to the place she had set aside to hide them, but was greeted by something much worse; Monica. Monica had come up the mountain to her sister’s ice castle and broken in with a tall mysterious knight next to her and an army of demon frogs behind her. “Hello sister” Monica greeted in an evil, taunting voice.
“Monica” Molly greeted coldly.
“I hear you have befriended those freaks who destroyed my Prince Fuzzy”
“They are not freaks Monica, they are very nice people”
“I was afraid of that” Monica said in a disappointed tone. “You know, you always did have a horrible judge of character”
“I had a horrible judge of character?” Molly half laughed. “You are the one who befriended demons”
“They are not demons, sister, they are just very misunderstood”
“What do you want Monica?”
“You, as a matter of fact”
“Me?”
“Yes, that is what I just said, isn’t it?”
“What do you want me for?”
“Ah, you see that is the difficult part. I need you to help me, sister” Monica said. “I need you to help me destroy those little freaks”
“I am not going to help you hurt my friends!”
“Something told me you would say that” Monica said. “That is why I’m going to help you. I am going to help you help me, sister.”
“How?” Molly asked. “How are you going to do that?”
“Force” Monica said with an evil smile. “Although I was hoping it would not have to get this far”
“What are you talking about?” Molly asked still speaking in a cold tone.
“You’ll see, sister. You’ll see” Monica smirked and then turned around to face her demon frogs. “Boys, you know what to do”
As she said this the frogs began to progress towards Molly without making any noise at all, looking her straight in the eyes. Don’t look into their eyes Molly! She commanded herself, but it was too much to resist. Molly, don’t do it!
Do it Molly, you know you want to. Another voice insider her head pushed.
No, no I don’t want to! I can’t let her hurt my friends!
Yes Molly, you can. She is your sister. What’s more important, your friends or your sister?
I… will… not… betray… my… friends!
Blood is thicker than water Molly, you know that.
No! No! No, I can’t do it! I can’t let her do it!
But she couldn’t stop herself, she couldn’t stop the frogs. Nothing made sense anymore. She couldn’t control anything; her thoughts, her movements, her speech. All was lost. Everything was out of her control. She couldn’t stop herself now. She was under Monica’s control. Nothing was hers anymore. Nothing.
“There, sister, now you will help me, won’t you?” Monica asked knowing that Molly now had no choice but to help her.
No, no I can’t Molly thought when she was able to think again, but her mouth betrayed her. “Yes sister”.
“Very good, I knew you wouldn’t want to let me down” Monica said. “I’m afraid I have to leave now, sister. Your friends will be here shortly and it wouldn’t be very good for me if I was here when they arrived, now would it?”
“No, sister, it would not be good” Molly said without really knowing what she was saying.
“You will find that when I leave you will gain some control back, but I’m afraid I can’t give you all of it. That would just ruin my plan, now wouldn’t it sister?”
“Yes it would, sister”
“I like you better this way Molly. You are much easier to talk to.” Monica stated and then turned towards the door. “I will see you again shortly” and with that Monica, Paul, and her demon frogs left through the door which they had come in through.
