Brief Author Bio: So, this is where I tell you about me... Not much to tell actually. A city girl who gave up her sanity and life to move to the isolation of a farm in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Someone moron named this place The Sunshine Coast. Personally, I think it is a tourist gimmick - don't be fooled. My biggest dream, to be an author! Cliched, I know. Well, why else would I be on Nano? |

Synopsis: Salvage Operation
After losing her father in an aviation accident, Erica starts up a company specialising in aviation search and rescue, crash investigation as well as salvaging of wreckage. Her psychic abilities enable her to report accurately as to the cause of the accidents, eventually earning her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and associates. When a disagreeable observer from the FAA questions her methods and ethics, Erica finds herself unsure as to whether she wants to get him sent back to the States or help him unlock the secrets of his past.
Excerpt: Salvage Operation
The sun was already well over the horizon by the time the landscape beneath him became visible. Africa wasn’t what he had expected. The illusions of being boiled in huge pots and eaten faded away as the harsh, rugged landscape faded into high rise cities and towering mountains.
By the time the plane reached Johannesburg, he felt almost at home as the thick heavy smog descended over the sleepy city. It was still fairly early, the traffic was busy mounting but the late winter morning sun still covered the city in a shroud.
