Synopsis: Needs Must (When a Demon Rides)
Humans and demons live side-by-side with most humans none the wiser. Demons need the humans for the life-force that they provide them, and the select humans chosen as a demon's companion profit greatly from it--at merely the expense of what we so naively call "the soul." But, when one human-demon pair discovers a way to rob humans of their free will to resist, one human named Cameron and the demon who has laid claim to his soul must work together to destroy this menace and preserve the human-demon balance. Can Cameron stop those who would make puppets of mankind--and keep his own soul?
