Synopsis: Shaken, not stirred.
Everybody knows that there is a secret agency. And I'm not talking CIA, NCIS, or FBI. No, I'm talking the REAL secret agency. No fancy things, no Tom Cruise. Just dirty jobs and boring assignments.
Tina is an agent for this secret service, and she loves every minute of it. But when she and her colleague Piotr screw up their latest mission, she gets assigned one of the more boring tasks.
Mark, a journalist for a small time newspaper, has been writing some nasty stuff about one of the local mob bosses. This was not an alltogether smart career move, but hey, news has to be written right? ... right?
So now Mark has to be protected. And Tina has to do it. But Mark has some very firm set ideas about the secret service and what they really do all day.
Excerpt: Shaken, not stirred.
Tina was having some serious doubts about this. For one thing, Mark seemed to be obsessed with spies. He was seeing them everywhere and believed they were capable of the most extraordinary things.
For example, poor Mrs. Long from next door was supposedly one of the more senior spies. These spies have served the country for many years now, dodging bullets and seducing evil villains on a daily basis. He suspected her of having a small nuclear rocket station in her basement, just in case the Russians would try to attack us.
After that he accused the pizza delivery man of trying to plant bugs all over the place, threw the pizza’s in the dumpster and ushered the man out of the door again. All the time babbling in some language he believed to be Polish. Ha!
And now she has been trying to get him to understand that there was nothing romantic, adventurous or even remotely interesting about this whole ordeal. This has been going on for more than one hour now and he still didn’t quite get it.
